Our very own Micro-Wedding

My own engagement and wedding taught me so much to help me understand what my clients experience before and on their big day. I spent so many countless hours exploring the reaches of the internet for inspiration, possible vendors, venues, and of course, dresses! It all rather stressed both of us out to the point that we started joking about running away and getting married in secret on the mountain.. Needless to say, our families would never have forgiven us!

So we settled for the next best thing- a micro wedding! We set a budget of $10,000 of our own money and any family contributions. We kept our guest list below 25 people, rented a little house in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and did the DIY thing. We had so much fun gathering little decorations, and making plans for how to accomplish something unforgettable without spending a fortune and without the unnecessary stress. After all, this is supposed to be one of, or if not, THE best day of your lives right?

Of course, there are a few things that are a non negotiable when it comes to a wedding budget. Finding a photographer in the area who was available with only a few months notice, had a style I loved, and that could fit inside our extremely small budget. Alas, there was no one who fit that budget.

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
